Many movies are good, some are great, but only a select few can be called truly "essential." After heated discussions, long negotiations, and a shouting match or two, the staff at Yahoo! Movies has put together this list of the 100 films you must see before you die. To choose the titles for the list, we considered factors like historical importance and cultural impact. But, we also selected films that we believe are the most thrilling, most dramatic, scariest, and funniest movies of all time. Some of these films you've seen, and some you may not have heard of, but we believe that each one is a timeless classic that you absolutely have to see.

I've seen 64 of them (indicated in orange). How many have you seen? There are some notable absences, but you can't please everybody.

Hi! Long time no chat. How is everyone? My home computer blew up... (no, not literally) but I'm in the market for a new one. PC vs. MAC. Anyone have any suggestions? I'm going to get a laptop. I've decided on that much. Other than that, there's so much to choose from. Help!!!

So, I've been watching Felicity on DVD. Remember that show? Wow, I forgot how good it was. I'm pretty much in love with Season 4... and obsessed with Ben-jameen. What happened to TV like this? I miss Roswell. I miss old Prison Break. I really hate TV now. It blows.

Did anyone watch? I'm not sure what to make of it.

Is Terminator: SCC on the ropes? Rumours are buzzing about Production being shut down soon. What? C'mon... I was just starting to get into it.

Prison Break isn't doing all that hot either.

It's difficult to find a positive spin for Fox's Monday offerings. Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles and Prison Break, both of which premiered early in September, each nabbed an identical 5.3 million viewers last night (Monday). That number is well below the shows' '07-'08 averages, 9.8 million and 7.5 million, respectively. What's more, each episode of Prison Break this season has been rated lower than the one that came before it.

Meanwhile, my new shows Fringe (10 million) & The Mentalist (15.3 million) are doing very well.

Fox won the second Tuesday of the television season among young adults behind its combo of House and Fringe which were both up a bit week to week...

Unfortunately, next week The Mentalist gets bumped for the 2nd Presidential Debate. Simon returns October 7th. Fringe is being bumped till October 14. Do we have baseball to thank for that? Ironically, that's the day of the Canadian Federal election. Yeah, we're having one... have you heard? You probably haven't, and this explains why.

Can someone tell me who is watching NCIS (17.2 million)?

Hey, angelrose493. It's nice to see you around again!

So, I'm in luck. The Mentalist is being carried by another Canadian channel on Mondays at 10. I can watch it right after Terminator & Prison Break. That leaves Tuesday free and clear for House & Fringe. I love it when the TV gods work things out for me. I won't be watching Heroes anymore. The premiere was less than impressive. I can't believe that show has fallen so far.
